Saturday 31st May - walks *** – The Grove in Felixstowe – sunny periods.

We had the lovely Sue coming round around 10 to trim our hair with Maeva coming too which meant I could start my exercises in the sunny back garden! We had a nice time with the haircuts, always nice to catch up with Sue and Maeva had a nice time in the garden, I completed my exercises while Mag pottered dead heading etc, I then packed a picnic and as Mag had to pick up a prescription from The Grove medical centre so we decided to walk through Abbey Grove to our seat in the small green which is covered in buttercups with the dog roses looked good too! It was a bit on the warm side but we enjoyed our lunch before continuing through the woods at The Grove coming out on Gulpher Road before cutting back through the wheat and barley fields, across the football pitches to the van. I then drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to look at the sea where a light onshore breeze was blowing. Back past The Fludyers dropping Mag off at Tesco to buy a cake while I had a quick drive down to the pier and to the Spa theatre, it was absolutely heaving, just horrible:(
I hope to start the new month off tomorrow with a windsurf foil, fingers crossed the wind plays ball!
